HOTARU Project

About us

In June 2008, the HOTARU project was established by the foundation of organizations in Japan. Our goal is to develop a reference implementation based on IMS standards proceeded by 3GPP/3GPP2, and etc, in order to contribute toward a corresponding to internationalization of 4G signaling standards in Japan, and product development with competition in the international market.

This project researches IMS standards, and develops an IMS stack, and verifies the implementation in various interoperability tests.

All of our achievements should open to the public.

Mar 31 2010 became our milestone.

We proud to release our HOTARU.
