  1. Who We Are?
  2. We are joint effort of several companies and organizations in Japan. Our members are The University of Tokyo, NAOJ (National Astronomical Observatory of Japan), NiCT (National Institute of information and Communications Technology), SIProp project, Intec NetCore, NECAT, NTT-AT, SoftBank telecom, NEC, Fujitsu, Fusion communication.

  3. Where We Are?
  4. We are now in Japan. But we cooperate with global companies and organizations.

  5. What Is Our Issue?
  6. There are sample messages in 3GPP in Release-5. But common IMS TS documents frozen without updating these messages. Some organizations make sample messages but they are not perfect.

  7. Why We Are?
  8. In global environment, every IMS developers, providers and operators use 3GPP TS documents. However, these documents not only include many options but also they defer selection of these options to the IMS operator. As a result, these documents complicate combinations by standing on many options and misunderstanding. We aim to resolve these problems and enhance interoperability.

  9. How We Resolve Issue?
  10. We aim to share our knowledge that obtained by real-IMS implementations and interoperability tests. We aim to pass iterative global conformance tests. We will report the results from these operations to the standards organizations. At last we release our implementation as OSS (open source software). Our OSS will contain IMS stacks and UE/P-CSCF/I-CSCF/S-CSCF implementations. You can use them for conformance tests, interoperability tests, verification test codes, etc.
